I have set up a header menu, to navigate to category pages. When linking to the category, I receive a notice saying that there is nothing to show right now. When i switch the theme over to a default word press theme, the links work fine. I was previously informed there was a corrupt file somewhere in the theme. I was given a list of items to try, and they did not work. I even deleted the theme from dashboard, and through Themeforest re-downloaded the zip file… still the same results. Please help

Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.
