Header logo - want to send it to 'parent' url

My wp url is https://learnkayaking.blueotter.com
I tried to change the second url to http://blueotter.com and I got a white page
How can I make the logo always go to http://blueotter.com/ - which is not a wordpress site

Hi Georgia,

Thanks for writing in! You can add the following JavaScript code into your X -> Theme Options -> JS area to link your logo to a different URL.

jQuery(".x-brand.img").attr("href", "http://blueotter.com/");
