I want to create a new header in Pro that has an inline menu in the first bar, and a text header and 5 text elements in the next bar (each text element is going to be about 6 links). I’ve created it about 5 times (and it looks nice in the editor) but when I save it and go back to headers and look at the page or go back to edit that header again it is empty. It seems to remember it when the text is empty but then forget everything when I edit the text elements.
Hi there,
Thanks for writing in!
On your main “Launch > Headers” screen is the header missing entirely? Do you see any Javascript errors in the console when you save the header? And lastly is the header globally assigned or just assigned to specific posts/pages?
Thanks!
The header was missing entirely and was only assigned to one page as I was testing it.
I’ve now decided to go with a standard single bar dropdown menu which I created from new and works fine. So I no longer need an answer to this question - but I think it is a bug that needs fixing. Thanks.
Hi There,
Would you mind providing us with login credentials(by clicking on the Secure Note button at the bottom) so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentials
Thanks.
How do I make a post private
I took a few screenshots to show you last time I created it - how do I show you those?
Hi There,
I also could not spot anything
On Your reply you have a arrow up which you can upload the screenshots.
Hope it helps
These screenshots show the bar I was trying to create. I’ve done it about 6 times now. It is very re-creatable problem. As soon as I save it, leave it and try to go back to it, it gives me a blank header ‘add a bar to get started’. I’m using the latest version of Chrome on Windows 10
Hello,
I`ve checked your dash and tried to create a new header and there is this error on the console.
So, to try solve this, could you disable all of the plugins to check if there`s any plugin conflict here?
