Header font changed after updates

After frustrating experiences (and wasting a lot of time) with the Font Manager I ended up disabling it. And now, following updates for X and Cornerstone today, my header font changes spontaneously. The settings in Options -> Typography are unchanged but are somehow overruled by an inline style.

I used to like X, but recently it doesn’t feel like a production-ready product.

Help, please!

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! To resolve this issue and know why it has changed in the latest version release, please check out this thread for further explanation:

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks for your feedback. That doesn’t solve it, I’m afraid. As mentioned, not just the size, the font family changed eventhough customizer settings are unchanged. My schedule for this particular project does not allow me to spend much time experimenting, so I’m going another way for now. I’ll revisit X when (hopefully) new features are a bit more stable/reliable.

No worries. Please let us know in case you update again and encounter the same issue.

Thank you.

After the “fix” you linked to, it’s no longer blown up but the line spacing is off on every text element. Now we have to go into every text element on the site and manually adjust the line heights and spacing again?

Agree with the OP, this whole split between Pro and X feels like it should be in Beta phase and it’s crazy when you have a largely client-based customer-base to be throwing them under the bus with everything breaking lately.

I really like what you guys are trying to do, I’m rooting for you, but this does not instill confidence or make me as a consultant want to continue advocating Cornerstone for my clients.

@purewebresults, have you tried Solution 2?

Thank you for your feedback and we understand your frustration. X and Pro are ready but bugs are inevitable that is why we strongly recommend that you test the update in a staging environment first. That is one of the best practices especially if your using feature rich themes and plugins. If you don’t like the features or you encounter bugs, you can report to us but the most important thing is, your live site remains stable.
