Header elements not visible in header editor

Hello,

We’ve stumbled upon a very recent issue.

We’ve had the headers made for a long time already and they were functioning normally, then all of a sudden we’re not able to see them in the header editor and edit them as we normally would. We can pick which bar, container and element we would like to edit in the Layout section, but none of it is visible in the editor itself. Thankfully, the edits are reflected once they are saved and the preview page is refreshed, but as you can imagine, that does pose an issue when editing/designing.

We haven’t noticed this issue appearing in the footer editor though, or on the page editor.

Any ideas as to what could be the source of the issue? Thank you in advance!

Thank you for reaching out to us. This usually happens because of a plugin conflict. I checked your setup and I see you’re using Smush plugin and we have received reports about the Smush plugin causing issues on several sites. Try disabling the plugin and see if this resolves the issue.

If the issue persists then try deactivating all third party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

This could also be caused by the cache, please clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugin and other optimization plugins. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.
