Header dynamic content?

Hi all,

Is there a way to set an element in the header to display dynamic content? Or to enable the looper provider / consumer on the header/footer elements? I’m looking for a way to use the featured image from blog articles as the main background image for the header section - if that makes sense?

Thanks,
Kind regards,

Hey Keanu,

Thanks for reaching out!

Yes, this is doable! You can set the featured image as background image in your header or footer builder.

This will get the featured image of the page, you can also set a condition where the section will only show when the featured image is available.

Hope that helps.

Afternoon @marc_a,

Thanks for sending that across! I tried that before but it seems to come back with a grey background. This is for the homepage so there isn’t an article loaded per say, apart from the loopers below on the page.

I have attached the details incase it sounds like a bug or something!

Thanks,
Kind regards,

Hi Keanu,

I went ahead to investigate by logging into your website, but it required additional authentication via Email Verification. I would suggest you remove that additional authentication for further investigation.

Thanks

Morning @tristup,

Apologies, I thought I had disabled that! You should be fine to login now. Apologies again.

Thanks,
Kind regards,

Hello @Keanu,

Your homepage page does not have a featured image. If you want to display a unique background image for each page then you will have to edit each of your pages and post to make sure that a featured image is set. When the featured image is absent, the gray background color will just display.

See the secure note.

Best Regards.
