Header defaulted to WordPress from my X Pro header

My header always worked fine. Today I opened my site and the header was missing. I checked and the header still exists it’s just not showing on the front end.

I didn’t make any changes and even when I hover over cornerstone in the WP admin bar there is no option to edit the header there.

I checked the header settings and the condition is set to the entire site.

How do I get it back?

Hey Chris,

Thanks for reaching out!

I suggest that you try to change the priority of your header. If it is 0, try to change it to -1. If it doesn’t help, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Thank you.

Hey Chris,

I’ve checked your header and I was able to replicate your issue. Do you have any 3rd party cache? Please keep in mind to clear any 3rd party cache associated with your website after upgrading from a major release. This will avoid any potential errors on your website.

Please let us know how it goes.

Thank you that worked. I had to clear the object cache.

You are most welcome, Chris.
