Header Cannot Be Assigned to Home

Hello, I had two separate headers. A home page version, and one for the whole site.

I decided to delete the homepage header and go for the simpler look over the whole site.

After deleting it, I have the default stack header on my homepage, and nothing I do to assign another one works for me.

I have tried creating new headers and assigning them to home, but nothing is working for me.

All I need is the JF Bar Header to appear on every page as I have it set to do now.

Hello @kickinrad,

Thanks for writing to us.

I tried to access your site dashboard but it seems that you have not given administrator privileges to this user account. I would suggest you please provide admin permission to this user account so that we can check your settings.

In order to assign the custom Header to the Entire Site you need to go to the Header —>Settings —>Assignment —>condition —>set it as “Entire Site” and set the Priority as “0”
customheader-Header-Cornerstone (7)

Please note you must purge all the cache clear your browser cache and then recheck it again or check it in the private mode of the browser.

Thanks

Hello, sorry I have corrected the admin credential.

I have tried to set it again and still no luck.

Seems like something is broken.

Hey @kickinrad,

The condition works fine on the frontpage but I suspect that the homepage is something corrupted. I highly suggest that you create a new page for your homepage and assign the new created page in the Settings > Reading as homepage.

When I tried to create a test themeco page and then assign it to homepage the condition works perfectly without any issues.

Hope that helps.

Hello! That was an excellent idea that I wish I had tried first, but unfortunately it did not help.

Now I have this:

Just a blank header. Very odd. Any other ideas?

Hello @kickinrad,

I checked your site settings it seems that the Header was rendering but it was “JF Fancy Header” So I went ahead and removed the Header condition from the “JF Fancy Header” settings and now your other Header “JF Bar Header” which you have set for the entire site is rendering on all of the pages. Please clear your browser cache and check it again.

Thanks
