Header buttons are displaying the interactive color

My header buttons are displaying the interactive color? Base should be black. Why would this be happening?

It seems that you are using one-page navigation, I would suggest you please have a look at this thread to learn more about how to set up the base menu color and setup One-page navigation.

Thank you for the links. I have set up and functionally it works fine. The color issue (even in that thread) doesn’t address the color issue?

menu has this because it is used outside of home page on other pages.

Hello @Christina,

To properly use the One Page navigation, you need two sets of menu. Yes, your current menu works but it also created the color issue. The 1st menu would have the #anchor-name as the href or link URL for each menu items. This is your menu that will be used exclusively for the One Page Navigation. The 2nd menu will have the https://example.com/#anchor-names and this will be as your primary menu so that other pages can still access the anchored links on the homepage.

Using the two sets of menu will resolve this color issue that you have.
