Header Builder - unstandard Button - link to opt-in form

Hello,

In the header builder I have a button on my navigation menu and I would like it to open up the newsletter opt-in form. I use Thrive Leads for my form builder. I was told that to open up the form from a button I have to use [thrive_2step id=‘841’]Trigger goes here[/thrive_2step] and put the button code inside where it says “Trigger goes here”. In the header builder it only gives me the option to do a url, phone, or email and there isn’t an area to get to the code. Is there a way for me to accomplish this?

Hi there,

You can not use the button element to add the code you mentioned. You need to add a text element and add your desired shortcode there to be able to make the 3rd party plugin work.

Also, I think it will be possible to have the button shortcode of the Pro there and then use the 3rd party plugin shortcode. Not sure about this but you can do a test:
