Header Builder not displaying correctly on mobile view, please help!

Hi, I’ve done a few websites using the Header Builder where I’ve created a global block to use in the container of the bar. I prefer to use a global block as I find it much easier and simpler to create the header how I want it using Cornerstone. I use some CSS that yourselves provided me a year or so ago to make the global block display full width, this goes into the Global Block ‘Element CSS’ $el { width: 100%; } and it displayed exactly how I wanted it on all mobile devices. I didn’t use to have any issues with the width of the content going off the side of the screen until the latest Pro update.

I’ve created 3 global blocks for the header which work at various break points to display correctly on mobile devices. When I use the ‘Preview Size’ option to check the global blocks on my desktop, they all appear correct. When I view the website on my iPhone, the content in the header goes off the right side of the screen and I have no idea why!

Here are the screen grabs. The first is how it looks on my desktop when using the ‘Preview Size’ at XS.

Here’s what it looks like when I check the website on my iPhone:

Would you know if it’s something to do with the latest update and if so, is there a way of fixing it?

I’ll put the URL in a secure note as I’ve got a construction page up at the minute and I’ll need to give you the By Pass Password.

Thanks!

Hello @core365,

Thanks for writing in!

I have checked your header in the responsive browser simulator and it looks like this:

On my Android phone, it looks exactly the same as your screenshot above:

Are you using the Safari browser on your iPhone? Please clear your browser cache or use private browsing mode and test your header again.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Hi @ruenel,

Many thanks for looking into it! It must be something to do with my iPhone, as in private browsing I had the same problem with it going off screen, but then I went back onto the normal browsing and refreshed and it was viewing fine! I’d refreshed it previously and it was still going off the side of the screen!

Sorry for wasting your time and thank you for your help!

You are welcome @core365
