Header Builder - Header is not visible to edit

I am having to build my headers blind because the builder will only show on a page that does not have a header. I have attempted to assign the header to specific pages, but it is not being recognized. In the past I’ve been able to select the pages for assignment, but the assignments section of my interface is missing in the header builder?

When I go to these pages in the builder I get the generic header like it hasn’t been assigned.

If I change the ‘Front Page’ to one of these pages I am attempting to assign the header to I can then see the header as it is supposed to be, but only on that one page.

Thank you for the quick help.

Hey Paul,

The Header might not be working because based on your screenshot, your Assignment Conditions are impossible. You used the AND logic and by that, the page must be exactly the Bookkeeping, About, Business Consulting and Tax Preparation which could not happen.

Please use the OR logic as shown below so it should be, Bookkeeping OR About OR Business Consulting, etc…

Once you’ve set that up and the header still won’t show up, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin username and password
  • Header Name and Pages you wish to show the header

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Thanks.

Thank you Peter. Understood about how I was not using the logic properly. I have changed it to “post type” IS “Page” and that has resolved the issue.

Thanks!
