I have a video I want on background for the header, but the one I’m using doesn’t seem to work.
A test video does. can you recommend the best hosting solution (free) for this video?

Thanks for writing in! I have inspected your site and I could not find the video. Did you happen to removed it already? Please put it back so that we can check it out. Just a reminder that when using a background video, you must supply a direct video file path and make use of a cross browser compatible file format. The accepted format will be *.mp4, *.ogv or *.webm. Your video source should be like http://example.com/video.mp4.
Please do not use youtube link or a vimeo link beacuse the video will not play.

You should host a video on your site on any other site but make sure you have direct URL of the video file.
The Wistia video URL contains its own player and not actually a video file, which is why it’s not going to work.

Please recommend a free service where i can do this. My client does not want to spend any more money, and I don’t think I can get what i need from Wistia w/o paying.
Hmm, is it not possible in your current hosting? You don’t need another service for this, just upload the video file to your Wordpress’ Media Library and copy the resulting URL and use it as your background video. Make sure the video format is MP4, but if you really wish to use other video hosting’s services then try Vimeo Pro and you can get the direct video URL, but yes, it’s not free.

I’m trying with my developer to increase my memory size.
But I am so behind on this, this has eaten up hours of design time.
Is it still related to the video file? As for memory limit, it may already be configured by your developer but some hosting doesn’t allow it especially if you’re on shared hosting. I recommend contacting your hosting provider and have it configured as it maybe needs their direct permission.

Hi I’ve got it working in the builder, but it’s not displaying in chrome
Not working in any browser, cleared the cache on chrome and safari, no video is displaying, tho on the back end it is.

Your video is not uploaded, this is the URL that you add http://nevergiveupsolutions.com/myvideo/freedom_tower_compressed.mp4 and it doesn’t exist on Wordpress media library. Please upload the video in Admin > Media Library and copy the resulting URL.

It still has incorrect URL, I went ahead and fixed it.

Update: It’s reverting back to how it was added. Something’s wrong with the current setup. I’ll continue checking.
Could you try renaming the folder where you uploaded the video? Please name it from my video to myvideo without space.
