Header background image shifted upward after update

The header on my homepage has shifted upwards after the recent update. Once I begin scrolling it glitches quickly and moves back to the correct position. Any idea what could be going on?

Hi Ken,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked your website and found the problem you described. It might be the parallax setting or something else which is the reason behind your problem. I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

  1. Theme Related Issue
  2. Plugin Conflict
  3. Theme Update related issue
  4. Child Theme Related issue
  5. CSS/JS Customization
  6. Disabling Cache
  7. Disabling CDN

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above help, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

I tried a few of those things already, but this issue is pretty much happening across all of my sites (20-30) all with different configurations. The common denominator is PRO.

Hi Ken,

Unfortunately, the given credentials are not working. Can you please check and send it once again?

Thanks

Should work now!

Hello Ken,

Thanks for sharing the login details, I checked your site it seems that it is an issue with the cache. I would suggest you please all the cache from the cache plugin and temporarily deactivate the cache plugin, please clear your browser cache and then check it again. If the issue still persists please let us know.

Thanks

It’s still doing it. I’ve removed installed and even swapped out caching/optimizing plugins. And it’s happening across multiple sites with different plugin configurations. On one site, I’m also having an instance where certain icons don’t render in chrome (works fine in Safari), from a specific header link. There are two links in the header to the same page, one works just fine, the other does not. Everything appears to be the same except the position of the button. Please see the secure note.

Hello Ken,

I have logged in to your site and purged your site cache. When I viewed your site in private browsing mode, I am no longer able to replicate the issue.

Kindly see the video in the secure note below.

Thanks.

At 0:28s of your video, you can see the background image to the glitchy jump. The image moves up about an inch.

Hello Ken,

I only logged in to Guelph Saultos’s website. I did purge the site cache first before testing the site. You should do the same for the Ethos Design site.

Thanks.
