Header and footer

Hi Guys,

After playing around with different plugins like ubermenu, superfly and Smart Sections to create a custom build menu. Im still not satisfied enough. So I’d like again play with the header and footer which is integrated into the xtheme ethos stack.

Sadly, as it seems, since I’ve played around a lot, I have created some problems since I can’t see the ethos stack header anymore. I have tried everything but still the header is not showing.

Could u guys have a look at the code and troubleshoot so I can again play around with the stack header and footer?

Hello Ivo,

Do you mean that you want to be able to use the original header and footer for the Ethos stack? If so, if you have enabled the header and footer builder in the Header and Footer settings of your Theme Options then the original header and footer will be replaced by the header and footer builder which you will have to create.

Hope this explains it.

Im not a Pro user. So guess the plugins Ive used have override the theme header and footer.
Now I have deactivated all plugins and try to work again with the ethos stack header and footer options but it doesnt seem to work anymore.

Hi again,

I checked your page source and I see third party scripts are removing your header and footer, most likely it’s the smart-sections plugin you’ve. Please deactivate this plugin and make sure to purge all caches before and after deactivating the plugin as I see you’ve endurance cache enabled and the cached content is still in use that’s why you’re not seeing any change even after deactivating all plugins. You can turn off your endurance cache in Admin > Settings > General.
