Long story short, my computer guy (also a good friend) passed away recently, I know how to do a lot but not all and am trying to figure some stuff out.
The links on my footer are old and no longer work correctly, I have no idea how to change the footer or the header. I found a html code that got rid of the top images on the header and just left the menu, but I would like to be able to change both. I do know how to go and update the widgets on that section, but just below that is a bar that I can not modify.

We are sorry to hear that. Can you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Your previous developer has added these HTML codes in Cornerstone > Theme Options > Footers > Content Area:
