Head image gets shrunk after last theme update

Hi!

After the last theme update I have the issues that my top images on all pages get shrunk (please see image below).
The graphic has a width of 1980 but is displayed only with 720. Could you please advise how to fix this?

Hi @ulipu,

Thanks for writing in.

I could see that the source of the image has a width attribute. As you could see in the image below:

This could be because of the source image that you used or because of a plugin that forcing the image to be small.

You could fix it by adding with to the image or remove automatic adjustment of images.

thanks for your response. Interesting is that we did not activate any additional plugin we just applied the theme update.
The image has a size of 1300 x 600 but is scaled down as identified by you. It is the same effect on all my pages after the update. The concerning code of the mentioned page is reflected below:

Hey Ulipu,

Thanks for updating in! Usually this issue happens when you have activated jetpack plugin and that Photon module is active. The Photo module replaces all your images and adds the size of the images being displayed in the site. Please deactivate Photon module and see how it goes.
