Having to click 2 or 3 times to start video

Hello,
I have a video slider that I created and put the play buttons on. For some reason they are not playing on the first click. I am having to click at least two times for the video to start. I followed this tutorial: https://www.themepunch.com/faq/create-playpause-button-slider-progress-videos/#video
I cannot figure out why. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for reaching out.

If you click it while it still loading, or the carousel is still populating then it will not really be going to play right away. I waited for a couple of seconds after it loads, then I clicked it once and it plays (but again, you’ll have to wait to play as the player needs to preload the video too).
