Has the Google Analytics plugin been updated?

The plugin is available for installation, but the documentation still refers to the Universal Analytics ID (which begins with a U), while the ID for Analytics 4 starts with a G. The latest forum post I can find on the matter says it hasn’t been updated yet, but this was back in 2020. Can someone clarify?

Thanks for writing in! The latest supported and available version of the Google Analytics plugin is 3.0.2. If you are using an older version, please make sure that you update to the latest one. Alternatively, we highly recommend that you use the Site Kit plugin which is the Google’s official WordPress plugin.
