H1 size inconsistency – a heading stays stubbornly small

Hi, I tired to ask this on the reply to an earlier support topic, but I’m guessing that caused you to miss it, so I’m starting this as a new topic. I’ve searched extensively but there is no corresponding topic.

On my www.jackdanielvo.com homepage (called Home2 in Pro), I have one heading (the h1 heading “News”) that remains smaller than all the other H1 headings. I went through every parameter to make sure they were exactly the same as the other correct ones, but still this header refuses to enlarge to the same size as the others. I also looked at the source code, and the H1 settings are the same. I figure there must be some stray code that is preventing the “News” H1 from being as large as all the others but for the life of me, I can’t find it, and I’ve combed through the Heading settings and can confirm they are set the same… Please help, and thanks.

UPDATE: I kept trying to copy other H1s and finally one “took”–not sure why, but for now it seems to be holding. Oddly, sometimes if I click into a heading, it will shrink down to half its size, and the only way to fix it is to leave the page without saving. Really odd.

Hi John,

Thank you for writing in and glad you sorted things out, probably there is a broken HTML tag on your headline that causes the issue. And it did resolve when you replace it with a duplicate headline.

Cheers!
