H1, H2 text setting on client site in inspector is not H1 styled? Have I set the whole site text incorrectly?

Hi Team,
I am concerned that I may have built this site incorrectly when assigning the H1, and H2 headings. It appears to me that all text is assigned to p?

The heading Hotel Management on this home page is an <H1 class, but in the inspector it’s assigned as

and in the element is .text is x-tent-content-primary.

When setting the headlines I do the following.

Looking at the text editor here, it’s not set at H1. Is this the problem?

I am concerned that google bots are not seeing this headline hierarchy as required for SEO optimisation and the main pages of the site are not correctly set up for SEO optimisation. Could this be the reason why we are getting poor SEO rankings?

Thanks Rob

Hi Rob,

Thanks for reaching out.
You need to add the content into the HTML not in the Rich Text mode, as shown in the given screenshot.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Hi Tristan, ok, great, is it that simple? If the copy is not in the HTML section is the text then not correctly tagged as H1, etc?

Hi Rob,

Your last question is not very clear. Please remember that while adding the content through the Rich Text it always adds the paragraph tag by default, even if you are using the Headline and you select any specific tag on it. If you still have any doubts about it, please let us know.

Thanks
