Gutenberg Update and Cornerstone issue

I have detected an issue where the edit, save, publish, format and category menu bar on the right disappear when you have Gutenberg Plugin activated as well as Cornerstone.

This is an issue because we are starting to use Gutenberg due to Yoast incompatibility with Cornerstone and the “Text length: The text contains 0 words. This is far below the recommended minimum of 300 words. Add more content.” as yoast cannot read the cornerstone formatted text.

Please advise.

Thanks for reaching out.

It should work and I just tried it on multiple installations. What I can understand in screenshots is your page is already built in the cornerstone. Hence, you should edit it in Gutenberg if you don’t wish to do it in the cornerstone.

In your screenshot, click the Edit with Wordpress on the very top left. That should bring you to Gutenberg builder, but by doing so, you’re overwriting the content you already built in the cornerstone.
