Gutenberg is appearing above Cornerstone

We have a page that is built using Cornerstone. We never edited the page with Gutenberg after building it with Cornerstone. When we try to edit the page it shows Gutenberg above the Cornerstone. Is it possible this is an issue related to the latest version of Wordpress?

  • This is a fresh build and we started working on it only a month ago
  • We recently updated the Wordpress core to 5.4 (latest version)
  • All plugins and themes are up to date.

Thanks for writing in!

Please be advised that this is a known conflict between the latest version of the theme and with WordPress core 5.4. A fix is already underway. It will be release anytime soon. For the meantime, please change the View by not using the Fullscreen mode and also then also change the editor to “Code Editor” as shown in the image below.
