hi there,
i am afraid i need your help with this.
i would like to achive what this video of the tuorials shows.
i am just no programmer… (thats also why i started working with your theme over 8 years ago. i never needed a manual or extensive programming knowlege. but this sadly has chaned with modern silder and gridorama).
now i would like to change cell positions on the mobile view for one of the grids. my grids loks exactly like the ones in your tutorial! actually a very simple and common problem but impossible for me to solve. i get all sorts of messed up layouts when trying.
i feel there should be a much simpler way (like revers columns for mobile view only) or such. but i guess it has to be done the way shown in the tutorial?
thanks a lot for your help! kai
Hey Kai,
Firstly, you don’t have to be a programmer to use Pro. All the simple elements like the Section, Row, Column and even the Classic Elements are still there. You don’t have to use complex elements like the Grid if you want a simple layout.
Now, the Row element has limits. If you want complex layouts, that’s where the Grid element comes in. It was added to address the limits of the Row element. It was NOT added to make site building harder.
To your issue, you have not provided specific details so I’m not sure what to look at. Please provide the details below.
- What specific video tutorial are you referring to? Post 1 tutorial link as we’re going to solve 1 specfic issue at a time to avoid confusion.
- What part of your site is having an issue? Post the page URL and a screenshot of the area.
- List the issues you’re having in that area.
- Maybe the Grid element is not what you need, please also show us a mock up of what you’re trying to build or achieve so we can show you how to achieve it using simple elements if possible.
Thanks.
