Grid portfolio items

Hi,
Id like to create a simple grid of portfolio items like I have on this page: http://2e6.274.myftpupload.com/programs/

I have 5 portfolio items across in a grid. But im using a plugin. Can I get this simple look with just using X? Or with a plugin that comes with X?
