Grid in section restrict height

Hi team,

How can I restrict a grid/row/section so that it isn’t so tall? I don’t want to use the global container on the row as I want the grid/images to run to the edge of the screen, but it’s making the section really tall. How can I make it so the images keep their aspect ratio, but are all just smaller so it’s more the size of what you see in the attached screen shot?

I’m working on the “christian elf on the shelf kit” page and the section named memories.

Hey Ashley, you say the image is (with the red arrow) is correct? But where can we see the current wrong situation? Is there a link to the website missing? Or a second image?

Hi Ashley,

You can set the height to the cells, or else you can set the height to the column that contains the grid.

I can’t get that to work and maintain the grid. For example, when i set a maximum height to the column (say 1200px) the following section just jumps up and overlaps it.

When I set a maximum height to the cells, in this example I’ve set the big picture to 1200px and hte smaller pictures to 600px, so as to respect the design/layout of the grid, it doesn’t display correctly.

can you please tell me specifically which option to use and what settings so that it will respect the layout of the gird (ie. 1 large image and 2 smaller images which are exactly 1/2 height).

Hello Ashley,

I have logged in to the site and I could not find the page that is shown in the screenshot above. I would recommend that you use the images as Cell backgrounds so that you can make sure that it always cover each of the cells.
