Greyed Out Credit Card Entry

A customer reported that they can’t type in a credit card number.
Can someone on your end see if the credit card field is greyed out when you go through checkout process?

I’ve tested it on three browsers and cannot replicate their error.

I advised them to clear their cookies, but they are old and have no idea how to do it.
Just hoping this isn’t a bigger problem.

Thanks for writing in!

I checked the website and I able to enter details in Credit Card field without any issues. Please see screenshot. Please suggest them to clear browser cache.

Thank you, i figured it was their browser pulling up an old cached checkout.
I’m not sure how to fix this though, as I’m not sure why it happens.
I have WP rocket to only instruct people to hold cookies/cache for a max of 10 hours.
And Cloudflare is set to a max of 4 hours.

Is it just their own browser and nothing I can do about it?

Hey Jesse,

Even if you have WP Rocket and CloudFlare, all modern browsers has caching feature too. The caching makes the browsing reloading the page faster. Check out this article for more details about browsing caching and how you can manually bypass the cache:
