Grey Space under slider

Dear Themeco Team,

I’m having trouble with the responsive design.
I’m working with the “Revolution Slider” PlugIn. WIth full width everything looks great, but when i’m looking at the page from smaller devices there is a grey space under the slider (Sometimes it’s white) this grey space gets bigger, as i decrease the browser window.
I tried to chance the settings in the PlugIn, but this doesn’t work.

Do you have any Idea what’s wrong?

Thank you very much!

Regards, Sonja

Hi There,

That is because of the size of your grid settings, please provide your admin credentials so we can take a closer look at your settings.

Thanks!

Hi There,

i put the admin credentials in the secure note above.

Hi There,

Settings Revolution slider with image full width image layers instead of background images can be a bit tricky.

I have replaced your Revolution Slider with Cornerstone X Classic Slider.

As you can see it responds much better for the type of slides you are trying to build and beside that it is a much lighter option which will require much less resources from your website.

Hope it helps

Hi Joao,

this looks much better than before thank you!

But now, its not fully responsive. When i’m on full-width on my monitor i can see the next slider on the right,
or when i decrease the window i can’t see the whole slider.

How can i make it fully responsive?

Thank you really much for your help!

Hi there,

I have just checked your site on a large screen and it seems to be responding well to device width.

Would you mind clearing your browser cache and checking again?

Thank you.

Hi there,

I cleared the browser chache.
is there a chance that the whole slider image (with the orange and white area on the right) shows on every size without realoading it?

If i’m loading the page in a smaller window it looks good:

But when i’m decreasing it without reloading it looks the same as in your gif:

It would be great, if the whole slider image is displayed in every window size, without reloading, including the orange and white area on the right.

How can i do this?

Thank you!

Hi There,

The slider is javascript based. Javascript. The Javascript code runs once the website is loaded but it does not re-load if your browser is re-sized.

Your slider is showing well on every screen width, but if you re-size the browser without refreshing it wont respond as expected. Note that it is very unlikely for the user to be re-sizing the browser. You can re-size your browser and you will find the error, but if you re-load the page you will notice the slider will be fitting perfect which means it will fit perfectly every device the website is loaded from.

Hope it clarifies.

Hi There,

okay i get it now.

Thank you really much for your help!

I found the answer already, so no need for you to look after. But thanks for your help anyway!

Hi there,

i got one more question.
I tried to put the classic slider on the other sites on the page. Now i cant get the Section with the slider to be full witdh as the one you made for the front page.

I copy and pastet every value from the front page slider. Is there any “hidden” css, that i need to paste too, in order for the slider to become full width?

Thank you.

Hi There,

Click on the row of the section where you have placed the calendar and turn of column container off.

On your X Slider settings, turn off the container also.

Hope it helps, if you still cannot make it full width, please provide the URL of the specific page.

Thanks!
