Gravity Forms (Perks) creating a double window on Submit

Hi,

I am using Gravity Forms v.2.4.8 and Gravity Perks v.2.1.2 with Nested Forms add-on v.1.0 beta-7.1.
Today for some reason one of my forms stopped working properly. i have a nested setup where it pulls a date field from one form to another. Now when you try to add a date and you click submit it’s opening a second window and will not submit the form.

I have been in contact with Gravity forms and they say it’s not them. With Gravity Perks I did Plugin/Theme conflict testing and it seems like when I use a default theme everything is fine.

Hi Jonathan,

Please note that 3rd party plugin compatibility issues are outside the scope of our support. There are hundreds or thousands of 3rd party plugin and it’s impossible to predict any incompatibility.

Regardless, I have spent some time doing a series of test and debugging but could not find what is causing issue.
Try to contact the 3rd party plugin support and have them check again

Hi Paul,

Thanks for taking a look.
According to Gravity Wiz, because it works fine in the preview, it has to be a Theme issue?
I don’t know whether this is right or wrong.

I checked it on standard theme and it’s not working there either. But the added dog or date displays once the page is reloaded. The same error appears when Pro theme and standard theme is active. The only difference is yes, the submit button. In Pro theme it reloads, but on standard theme it submits but does nothing until the page is reloaded. Given that the same error is present regardless of theme then I recommend contacting the plugin author and have it fixed.

Maybe it’s working on the preview since the preview doesn’t load the theme. It’s a simple window with just the form.
