Grandparents and Parents of Sub Menus No Longer Working after Updates

Hello,

After updating X-them and cornerstone the grandparents and parents of sub-menus are no longer working. This issue started after updating, it was fine before. I’ve already cleared the browser and server cache, but the issue is still there. Also there are no CDNs cacheing anything at this moment.

The link is here - http://greentreegroup.flywheelsites.com/

Grandparent link - Services - not working
Parent link - IT Solutions - not working
Parent link - Organizational Solutions - not working

Any help would be great or can you direct me to where I get a previous version of X-theme to revert back to.

Thanks!

Hello @launchcatapult,

Thanks for writing in!

I have inspected your menu and it seems that the grand parent and the parent links were discarded or not being triggered. I noticed that you have installed Scroll Magic plugin. This could be caused by a 3rd party plugin. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

And if nothing is helping, provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

By the way, you can get the previous stable version of the X theme by logging in the APEX dashboard.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

I’ve done all of that the issue is still there. The issue started after updating X-theme and Cornerstone to the 7.2.3 and 4.2.3 versions.

I provided the login credentials for the site. Thanks for your help.

Hey @launchcatapult,

Thank you for providing the credentials. I checked your setup and you’ve customization in your child theme related to the header which is breaking the links functionality. Upon switching to the parent theme, all links started to work fine.

Please review the customization in your child theme and remove the conflicting code to fix the issue. Hope this helps!
