Google RecaptchaV3

Hello there.
I’m using CF7 and WPforms Plugins on 3 different sites, all running Pro theme.
I’m using the “third party” google recaptcha integration (site and secret key) as described on the google recaptcha management page.

No form is working. All respond with the spam protection error message. Using hCaptcha on a different site - no issues whatsoever.

Can anyone copy this problem? This started after google moved the captcha to the reCaptcha Enterprise whatever. I updated all keys - again as suggested on the google management site - with no luck.

This is a little annoying.

EDIT: this might be a hint, why CF7 has issues with google recaptchaV3 enterprise

Yes, Contact Form 7 is planning to migrate to Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise by the end of 2025. This means that all users of Contact Form 7’s reCAPTCHA integration will need to migrate their reCAPTCHA keys to a Google Cloud project prior to upgrading Contact Form 7 to version 6.1. Contact Form 7 is also planning to introduce Cloudflare Turnstile as an alternative CAPTCHA solution in Contact Form 7 6.1.

WPForms and other WordPress plugins that integrate with Google reCAPTCHA will need to migrate to Google Cloud reCAPTCHA Enterprise before the end of 2025, according to a blog post and a YouTube video on the topic. Google is phasing out the classic reCAPTCHA keys and requiring all users to upgrade to the Enterprise version within their Google Cloud projects.

this is what AI spits out.

Hi Ondrej,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked the example URL and am able to submit the form in it, and able to find the response in the given email ID. If you are still facing the same issue, I would request you provide any screenshot marked with the issue or any screen-capturing video that helps us to recognize the problem you are facing at your end.
I would also suggest you check the settings of the WP Forms, for Anti Spam and reCaptcha settings.

If the issue persists, we may need to investigate it through the WordPress admin dashboard. Please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks
