Hello. Am I able to access my google photos library direct from dashboard? A search of google/wordpress says there should be a drop down option in Media top left corner but I don’t have this option.Is it not available in X theme? Thanks.

This feature is not available in X/Pro theme.
You have to use the 3rd party plugins or contact a developer to help you with this.
