Would there be any reason that activating the Google Optimize script would cause Pro to pause to load the page? It should be loading asynchronously, which is why I don’t understand where the pause is coming from. If I deactivate the Optimize script, the pause goes away.
I’m running Pro 1.2.7.
The Optimize script is being loaded from the child themes functions file.

I pasted the code inside the <head> of my test site and Pro builders are working fine. It didn’t affect its functionality. It might be a combination of issues on your end like optimizations and third party plugins. I recommend that you setup a test site with fresh WordPress install and only the Pro theme and your snippet to test if the conflict will persist.
If the issue persists, please give us WordPress Admin access of your test site so we could gather information like console errors and give advice if we can. In case we can’t, we’ll post the information in our issue tracker so our development team would be made aware of the case once they go through the list of reports.
