Google Maps API key in Gym extended demo

Hello, I installed the Gym extended demo and I’m trying to get the sections with google maps to work. I see message “Oops! Something went wrong. This page does not load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.”

I already have the Google Maps API. Where should I put it to make the map sections to work?
My page is jiujitsuroswell.com

Thanks!

Hi there,

Google forces the Map users to have an API Key to show the map correctly. We already added the proper option in Google Map Element for you to add you’re proper API Key. To get your API Key kindly check this tutorial:

Now that you have the API key for your Google Map you can simply go to Cornerstone in the page which the map exists, click on the map and from the left side you can add the API key in the proper place:

Thank you.

Thanks. I have inserted the API key in the Google API Key field, and added also Latitude and Longitude. But I still see the same Jave script console error. And the map does not display on the page. Please see my page here: jiujitsuroswell.com.
Thanks!

Have you checked the live page? The map gives me the same error message in Cornerstone, but displays correctly when viewing the live page

I did check the live page, using ,my PC, tablet, and phone. And few different browsers. And I still only see empty page. See the attached image.

Hi there,

That is strange as I checked the front end of your website and could not find any Javascript COnsole Error but the map is how you gave the screenshot of.

I suggest that you search for possible 3rd party plugin or customization code conflict:

  1. Kindly turn off all 3rd party plugins and test the case
  2. Kindly remove all custom codes regarding CSS or Javascript you may have added in Appearance > Customize or in X > Launch > Options section
  3. I see that you are using a CHild Theme, try to change it to parent theme and see if it fixes the problem.

If none of the points above are the problem cause, kindly get back to us with the URL/User/Pass of your Wordpress Dashboard using the Secure Note feature of the post, so that we can try to check and find possible culprits causing this problem for your case.

Thank you.

I sent a secure post in the previous part. This message did not have that option. Don’t know why.

You might have key restrictions setup and its preventing the map from displaying in your site. Please see https://developers.google.com/maps/faq about restrictions.

Thanks.

I read through Google FAQ but that is not much help. If you found what the problem is, could you please be more specific?
I also checked that there should be no restrictions for the API key.
I have used the “Google Map” Element before, so I do not understand why it is not working this time?

UPDATE: I created a 2nd google API key and changed it on the element. There was a long delay from google side but now this is finally working.

Thanks!
