Google Maps API Fees

Hi,

I have been using the Google Map element and it asks for an API key to embed a Google Map. In order to get one of those I need to register on the Google Site.

Am I right in thinking these are now chargeable by Google (per subsequent number of map hits)?

I could not confirm that there will be charges or fees by Google. It would be best that you will contact someone from google to confirm this one.
