Hi,

We’ve recently run Google Lighthouse audits against our site running X Theme and there are a number of areas where small/easy improvements could be made that should really be baked-in to the theme.

These include:

  1. Adding passive event listeners for smoother scrolling
  2. Increasing performance and security by adding noopener tags to social links
  3. adding a “name” attribute to the main logo
  4. increasing contrast of foreground/background text on tag and category buttons

We can override a lot of this stuff in a child theme, but it would be great if X offered this stuff natively.

Hi @JennCWF,

Thanks for your input, I’ve submitted this to our feature request list so the developers will be made aware of it, this way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.
