Google fonts not loading using fallbacks instead

Hello,

My heading font is Noto Serif, and body is Noto Sans. The screenshot below shows:

A) When logged in, the correct fonts are loading
B) When logged out, the browser is displaying the fallback fonts (serif and sans-serif)

There’s no font-face declaration in the HTML for the Noto fonts, which is odd.

Here’s the font setup:

I tried loading the font files as custom fonts, which proved it would work an alternate way. Surely the support for Google Fonts means I don’t need to upload the font files?

Can you send login details to this or a staging site? I would guess a plugin or something in the child theme. I was not able to recreate this.

I found it with your clue. I had perfmatters set to ‘local google fonts’ which seemed to break the site. I’ve undone that option and it’s working. Sorry to bother you. Grrrr
