Google font missing in list: Inter

Hi,

this is not a complaint, but an observation. I wanted to try this Inter font from Google:

It seems that all other fonts that I tried were in your list of choices except this one. Not sure if that is a bug or not, so just FYI.

Thanks for reporting. Yes, the Inter font is not yet available in our font selection so I’ll add this to our issue tracker so the Google Fonts list will be updated.

Also, another question related to this. What is the reason that on Google fonts website there could be more styles available (like 300,400,500,600 etc) whereas in our Theme X it often show less than that. Is that something we can adapt? (often there is no italic for instance as a choice).

Hi Amaravati,

Can you specify what font you’re having that issue? Please note that not all Google fonts have all the font-weight and font-style variant, some only offer specific font-weights (100-900) and font-style (normal or italic).
