Google font import style sheet

Hello

I am trying to import Rubik Mono One to use on my site but for some reason it is behaving as if the import is not working

I have the following in my style.css file and Baloo Thambi and Eb Garamond both work, but Rubik Mono One does not work when I try to apply it to text

@import url(‘https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Baloo+Thambi’);
@import url(‘https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Eb+Garamond’);
@import url(‘https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Rubik+Mono+One’);

I have the following applied to the text object on the page that says ‘get mother culture updates’ but it does not do anything to change the font, I can replace Rubik with Baloo Thambi or Arial and that will work, but not Rubik
font-size: 25px;color: #ffffff;font-family: “Rubik Mono One”;

How do I successfully import Rubik?

Hmmm This is very strange, it was not working when I was reloading and now it suddenly is.

If I am using the Easy Google Fonts plugin, do I still need to manually enter each google font I would like to import if I want to specify it’s use somewhere using CSS, or is there a way to have all google fonts pre-imported that isn’t exhausting on the server? Let me know if this is an inefficient way to address the situation, I would just like to be able to easily try out different font options without having to manually import each one to the style sheet

Thanks!

Hello There,

If you use Easy Google Fonts plugin, you may not enter each of the Google font as long as you have set up or know how to make use of the plugin. For more details, I guess this video should help:

Please let us know how it goes.
