Google code input in HEAD

I cannot find where to put in google analytics code in head part of homepage. I do not want to use plugins. What I have tried is putting it in:

  1. header.php (which calls head base file) - not working;
  2. Framework, views, header, base.php - not working;

I’m not sure, but curious why you do not want to use a plugin? X and Pro have their own plugin just for this.

What are you using to verify that it’s working or not? Are you looking at the code or is Google telling you it’s not tracking?

Both. Not google neither I can find cone after I put in Head section.

What is the name of plugin?

X provides a very simple plugin “Google Analytics” that works flawlessly with the x and pro themes. You can locate it by going to Pro validation and scroll down to extentions. From there just hit install and after that then again go look under pro you will see the plugin to the bottom of the drop down. Once here all you need is your google ID and then tell it if you want it in the header or footer. Done. You do not even need the entire script just your google analytics ID. Hope this helps.

Yes it works with ID.

But I have other plugins as well which require code input in HEAD. How I can do that then?

Still waiting answer. Please tell me where to find HEAD part code where to put inside for example my chat plugin shortcode.
