Google Analytics showing on page in browser window

Hi,

I wonder if you can help me, please?

I have updated to the latest Pro release on a site that I’ve been redesigning in Pro. I successfully migrated from the dev version to the live site and have just added Google Analytics via Pro to the production site. However, when GA is enabled in Pro the code appears on the page above the header (rev slider). I still have the dev site on my server and added GA and the same thing happens. Is there a way to add GA without it showing?

I’ll add login credentials in a secure link below.

Thanks for your help.

Kind regards,

Ken

Hi Ken,

Thanks for writing in! Could you please disable Pro’s Google Analytics extension and use an alternative plugin to integrate your code. You can use DuracellTomi’s Google Tag Manager (https://wordpress.org/plugins/duracelltomi-google-tag-manager/) or use Insert Headers and Footers plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/).

Hope that helps.
Thanks!

Hi mldarshana,

Thanks for the reply. I’ve gone for DuracelTomi’s as the other plugin hasn’t been updated for 11 months.

You’re welcome!
