Google Analytics reports stopped updating - Real Time still working

Hello,

About 3 days ago my google analytics started running funny. The reports are not updating correctly. I can see “real time” users viewing my site but when I go to my google analytics dashboard and look at total daily users or sessions it keeps showing the time on page / session duration as zero, and it’s not updating with all the users or sessions. I am not sure what happened to make it all the sudden not work properly?

I have verified the tag is working b/c when I go to the site I can see myself in real time. But that won’t feed over to the reports. Any ideas?

Thank you for the details.

I have checked your site and there is a JS error. it came from your custom javascript which is incorrect. You have inserted a form shortcode in the jasvscript section. You added this:

[wpforms id="30" title="false" description="false"]

Please remove this shortcode to resolve the JS error.

And please also be advised that you are using a 3rd party plugin, Google Analytics Dashboard for WP (GADWP). The theme has nothing to do with Analytics tracking. It is the plugin that manage this.

Thank you Mr. RueNel for the reply, I really appreciate it. I completely understand x-theme and Analytics are not related but wanted to check if you could help me and I am really happy you were able to point me in the right direction.

That said, I do not recall entering anything into the jasvscript section? I do not even know how to navigate to it. Could you please advise me on how to get to that part of my site so I can remove this code?

Hi David,

It’s within the CSS area of the content builder.

I went ahead and commented it to disable it, though, I couldn’t confirm if analytics are running okay. Could you try testing it?
