Google Analytics plug in - Fatal Error

Hi! :slight_smile:

I am trying to active the Google Analytics plugin but somehow its giving me this error

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[’ in /var/www/vhosts/coverpagedubai.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/tco-google-analytics/tco-google-analytics.php on line 114

Any help please?

Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.

Hi

I have the same problem and I don’t have any non-X theme plugins installed on the site. I am getting this error when I try to activate the Google Analytics extension

Hi There @hamerkate

Could you please open up a new thread and post your login credentials in a secure note to check your issue. Make sure to include the following details.

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password
  • FTP credentials

Before doing that, try deleting the plugin manually by connecting to your FTP account (public_html/wp-content/plugins/tco-google-analytics/) and then re-install it to see if that resolves your issue.
