Google analytics doesn't display 'insert code snippet' box

the x theme pro google analytics extension only asks for the google analytics ID.

When I enter in my tracking code (not my id) it strips part of the script and I don’t see any of my traffic reflected in google analytics.

The x theme google analytics extension on my other site will ask for my tracking code and not my ID.

I’ve never had so much trouble trying to paste my tracking code into wordpress.

Please help.

Thanks for reaching out.

You should only add the ID, it automatically creates the code when placed on the site. Please don’t add any tacking code

I found out that it was my Brave Browser that hides itself from google (even after I disabled privacy features)
