Going From X to PRO

Hi,

Quick Question, My website was designed with X but i would like to try to use pro on that site is it possible to upgrade to pro without breaking the site. i own a license for pro

one quick comment to… I am a … user and have been for a long time, I was reluctant to using cornerstone but finally decided to give it a shot and let me tell you it is the most amazing tool to create a striking website with ease. keep up the good work

Yes you can use Pro theme without destroying you previously built X theme. Just follow these steps:

  • Download the Pro theme from your dashboard (https://theme.co/apex/dashboard) and upload it to your WordPress dashboard in Appearance > Themes like any normal theme. Please do not activate it yet.
  • Go to X > Validation > Theme Options Manager and download the XCS file to your local computer.
  • Go back to Appearance > Themes and then activate your newly uploaded Pro theme.
  • Go to Pro > Validation > Theme Options Manager and import the XCS file that you have previously downloaded. This is to make sure that your Pro theme will have the same settings as your X theme.
