Global Line Height

Hi,

I am trying to adjust line height for all my text. I am using Icon and see the default is 1.7. However, when I add a text element it the default of 1.4 overrides it. If I clear it, then it becomes 1.

The classic text elements inherits the body, but the V2 text element does not. I prefer not to have to set the line height for each element.

I found a thread from back in 2017 with the same issue. I am hoping something has been resolved since.

Hello David,

Thanks for writing in! Please advised that v2 elements are independent elements that have their own styling. This is why the v2 text elements have 1.4 line-height. When you use this element, you will have to set it to inherit or always change the line-height to something else.

If you want to have the global line-height, use the classic text element instead.
