Global Blocks Updated Per Page

Is it possible to create a Global Block as a template that you can use as a starter template and customize per page? I’d like it to include a parent element and all of the children.

A global block works and displays differently in the page. The best thing you can do is to create a page first and then save it as a page template. When you create a new page, you can load the saved template as your starter template when you create a page and make edits the the page.
