Global Blocks / Shortcodes in E&P estimation form

Hello everybody,

I need to put some text, product-features etc. in my E&P-form. To do so, I’d like to insert Global Blocks or Shortcodes. Generally, this does work in a plain-text elemt , but most of the formatting gets lost - headlines become much bigger, buttons, icons etc. become transparent and incredibly small.
How can I make the form show the correct formatting?

Thanks for writing in.

The CSS generated for that global block is overriden by Cost Estimation CSS. From here /wp-content/plugins/WP_Estimation_Form/assets/css/lfb_frontendPackedLibs.min.css?ver=9.6193. How about adding the button as an image in your global block?

Hi Rad,

thank you for your answer. Of course I could add a button as a workaround, but that’s not how it should be. The button itself is not responsive, google will not read it, it’s a lot more work, if there is something to change and it has no over-effects.

The button is not the only problem, there were many more concerning formatting text in the E&P form. What I would need is a way, that formatted text, global blocks and shortcodes are displayed correctly with their own css and not be overwritten with the E&P css.

If the E&P plugin is sold as a part of X, it should integrate smoothly without having to do any hacks or workarounds to get X and E&P together.

… and another problem: The button toggles an “content area modal”, im not shure how to realise this by just placing an .jpg. I need several different buttons with the same function, all of them at two or more places (in E&P form and on “normal” pages).

Seems the global block CSS overwrote by E&P form.
I am forwarding this to our development team they will look on to this.

Can you tell me, if they did already look on to this and found a solution? The go live is planned for next monday and I need to find a way to integrate the buttons to the E&P form …

Hi Rad,

can you give me a hint, according to your experience, if an issue like this will be fixed within hours, days, weeks or month? To continue the work on the page it is very important to decide NOW wether I wait for a bugfix or to invest time in an alternative solution.
