Global Blocks not working in WordPress 7.1

Hello

Pro 6.9.3, WordPress 7.1: legacy/nested Component references fail with “Unable to locate Global Block : ID”.

Component itself opens and renders correctly in Component Builder.

A newly inserted Component inside another Component also fails to render.

Downgrading WordPress to 7.0.4 immediately restores all functionality without any content changes.

Last version of Pro (6.9.3)

Thanks

Hey @Kresimir,

Thank you for reporting. I’ve forwarded this to our development team for investigation. For now, please keep WordPress on 7.0.4.

Do you have a staging site I could take a look at for this issue? Or do you have a .tco file you could send me? Have a great day.

I found the nested component reference.

The parent component izdvojeni proizvodi contains a Component element pointing to 225170:full .

Using WP-CLI, ID 225170 resolves to:

Single Product / cs_global_block / tco-data / single-product

I’m attaching exports for both izdvojeni proizvodi and Single Product .

I hope this makes sense, sorry currently no staging… I recently inherited maintenance of this website, so I’m still getting familiar with how the Cornerstone components were originally set up.

Okay thanks for sending that to me so I could confirm. I will have a fix in place for our next point release. Have a great day and let us know any other way we can help.

Thanks, all good, looking forward for the next release
