Global Blocks Missing in Pro Editor

There appear to be a few similar topics, but couldn’t find anything with a solution. When I go to Pro > Global Blocks there should be a list of all the Global Blocks we have created, but instead it says ‘No Global Block Found’. I tried creating two new blocks, but even those to do not show up after saving, exiting to the Dashboard, and then going back to Pro > Global Bocks.

The same is happening to both staging and live sites. It doesn’t appear to be plugin related (deactivating all plugins did not make a difference).

Hey @TonyBear,

I created a global block in the site you shared and it’s available. I also see 2 global blocks upon checking.

Do you have many global blocks before? If so, please give us database management access like PHPMyAdmin so we could check if they exist in the database.

Thanks.

Apologies, I linked you to the wrong website. Please see the secure note for the correct website.

Hey @TonyBear,

It’s your child theme that is causing the issue. You might have some custom code in there that conflicts with the Global Blocks.

Please have your developer fix the child theme custom function. Just note that we only support the parent theme and it does not have an issue.

To save you time, before reporting an issue to us, kindly go through the troubleshooting steps listed in our article here https://theme.co/docs/common-issues

Thank you for understanding.

I see, @christian. This wasn’t an issue last year when we built the site.

Hey @TonyBear,

We understand it’s not an issue previously but your developer should keep up with the changes in the latest version of Pro. The developer needs to find a way to make the custom function work without affecting the Global Blocks feature.

Thank you for understanding.
